Magic is coming…

Hello friends!

The cat’s out of the bag … or the wolf out of the forest. 😉

Last winter, I took some time for myself and wrote a story that’s been burning inside me for quite a while. First I thought it’s going to be something just for my personal pleasure, nothing to publish at all. But the farther I got, the sweeter this romance turned, and now I love it so much that I can’t just hide it in my drawer.

It’s a topsy-turvy fairy tale romance in two books. Red Riding Hood, aka Riley Redcoat, goes on strike because she’s unhappy with being stuck with a wolf as her story partner. A rather hot wolf to be exact. ^^

Both books No Prince for Riley & Jack’s Ever After will release on May 1st  on Amazon as e-book and paperback.

No Prince for Riley
When Red Riding Hood decided to catch herself a royal.

Every time someone opens a storybook and reads the four magical words “Once upon a time,” my granny gets eaten a few hours later. Boy, it sucks! I wish my tale had a cool ending, like Cindy and Briar-Rose got. Along with a castle and a dashing prince to marry.

Did you ever kiss a frog? No prince pops out of that. Trust me, I’ve tried. Seventeen frogs, and nearly one warty toad—for nothing.

What I get is Jack. Alas, he’s unsuitable for a romantic ending. The Wolf simply lacks the manners for that. And obviously, a crown. Because, off the record: love only happens among royals in Fairyland.

Since royalty doesn’t just rain from the sky, I’m going to build a prince trap tomorrow, and then I’ll write my new ever after. It’ll be so good…

*cough* Hi, I’m Jack Wolf—yes, if Riley gets to say something here, so do I.

And she better forget about this harebrained idea to elope with a royal. We’re not going to rewrite anything. If she wants to make out with somebody, she can do it with me or no one.

Oh, and…it will be good.

I’ve got an extended sample for you right here so you can meet Jack and Riley today. 😉 And of course, there’s some music, too.

Since this is such a big story in a wonderful place, I have a special bonus for you. A map of the entire Fairyland + a close shot of the Wood of 1000 Dawns.

Jack and Riley will need the map in the story, too. Luckily, James Hook had a spare one to give them. ^^

Now sleep tight, lovely fairy breeds, and I hope you’re all just as excited as I am for the big day when Red Riding Hood and Jack Wolf sweep you away to Fairyland. Be prepared to shed some tears of one or the other kind. Between you and me, at some points while writing, I laughed so hard that I had to take a break and calm down until I could see the screen again. But of course, toward the end, things will turn a little sentimental, too… ❤

Close your eyes and follow me to Fairyland!
